The Choice Pantry of Central Seventh Day Adventists has been serving the community for
more than 15 years. Located at the corner of 18th St. and Oak St., its inner city ministry has
been a true blessing.

The location is busy assisting hungry families, and it doesn't stop there. On occasion, the
pantry as been known to have clothing drives to assist in providing much needed clothes to
men women and children.

But don't just take their word for it, see what the community has to say......

"We live in a country where you shouldn't have to choose between food or medical, medicine or doctors.  I am living off of very little income.  If it were not for this pantry, I would not have enough food for the month.  This pantry gives you enough food for a month.  Cutting funds to places that are helping the needy is not Godly.  We live in a country of plenty.  The ones that have do not care about those that do not.  Why is it always the poor that suffer in cuts, medical help?"

"I am at the food pantry because I have very little hours at work.  As a result I have to supplement by way of resources such as this pantry.  I know I'm not alone when I say it is invaluable to this community."

If you are interested in providing a donation to the Central SDA Choice Pantry, it can be done in one of three methods:
  1. Funds- We accept monetary donations made out to Central SDA Church specifying c/o Choice Pantry in the memo.
  2. Goods- We have a need for certain items: Body Soap, Toothpaste/Toothbrushes, Deodorant (men & women), DIAPERS (all ages and sizes) and Vitamins (men, women and children)
  3. Service- The pantry has a dedicated staff, but occasionally we are in need of volunteers on Tuesdays to unload the truck prior to Wednesday Pantry Day.
